Note that the support for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Windows XP has been dropped. Frame 1.5 will be the last version of the first generation of Frame and we have already started the development of Frame 2.0 which will be released during 3Q10. Version 1.4 will deliver improvements to the color accuracy test and the reporting capabilities. Version 1.5 will deliver remarkable improvements to the resolution test and especially to the resolution charts. We have also started the development of version 2.0, but the features have not been fully determined. We have decided not to provide any kind of time schedules, because we want to make sure that the deliveries are properly tested. The purpose of the decision is to focus on the quality of the deliveries instead of focusing on artificial time schedules. Frame 1.3.2The latest update includes some minor improvements and miscellaneous bug fixes. For example, the gamut of the RGB color space is displayed and the bug related to the vendor specific samples of Kodak Q-60 test chart has been fixed. The update is recommended for all the users. The Linux version has been postponedUnfortunately the Linux version of Frame has been postponed, because we could not find enough beta testers. The release was once again a few weeks late, because we found some critical bugs just before the release. As a consequence, we have decided to change the development methodology. In the future we will release frequent updates. The version control will be modified accordingly. The new methodology allows us to release new features after they have been fully tested without relying on artificial time schedules. We believe that the new methodology helps us to deliver new features within reasonable time without compromising quality.
