Kate Labs Ltd is a software development company which focus is on applications for testing digital imaging devices. The company was founded in summer 2008 and it is owned by its founders and current employees. The company is located in Helsinki, Finland.
The name of the company comes from words "kamera" and "testaaminen", which stand for "camera" and "testing" respectively. The origin of the company was created already in early 2007 when the founders started to create new applications for digital image processing. After a lengthy period of research and development, the first prototype of the new application was finished in early 2008.
The first application of the company, Frame, was released in mid 2009. Frame is an intuitive application which enables rapid results without previous knowledge of testing digital imaging devices.
